America and the world were shocked and saddened by the carnage of Black Friday this year. An employee was trampled to death at a Wal-Mart and a two died in a shoot out at Toys R Us.
(Luckily all Circuit City shoppers were unharmed)

For those of us in the Mid-Atlantic these tragedies drum up memories of our own painful past of shopping massacres.
Let’s all take a moment of silence and remembrance for the Great Richmond iBook Stampede of 2005.
